Impactful Theatre in Education

Our award-winning Theatre in Education (TiE) programmes tackle key issues like mental health, online safety, and exploitation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unless we have prearranged with you to arrive at a set time, we arrive 20 – 30 minutes before the start of our session to set up. Our set and audio-visual equipment does not need more than a 30 minute get in.
Insufficient lighting, poor acoustics, background noise and other forms of interference can compromise a session. With this in mind, we try to avoid sports halls, canteens and gymnasiums. We require a space 5 meters wide & 4 meters deep. We understand that this can be tricky at times, so talk to us before the event. We bring all the necessary equipment and only require a mains plug socket and a large table. Any special requests will be made prior to the event. The use of stage lighting is always welcomed. In large spaces, we ask that audiences sit as close as possible to the front.
It is imperative that our sessions are enjoyed in the best possible environment. In the interest of safety and enjoyment, we reserve the right to take appropriate action (if deemed necessary) and discontinue a session or presentation. We expect the staff and adults present to manage behaviour appropriately. For the protection of our facilitators and performers, we will not tolerate any form of negative discrimination.

Choices is a fantastic production

'Choices' is a fantastic production. I have been lucky enough to see it three times in my teaching career alongside a year 9 cohort. 2engage have really hit all the notes with this one - It's funny, informative and absolutely enthralling for the audience. The actors have all been phenomenal each time they've visited and I really couldn't have asked for any more. It was a fantastic way to kick-start our year 9 options day.

I would certainly recommend this production.

Both staff and students thought ‘CHOICES’ was fantastic, it was obviously well-received and made an impact on the whole year group. I would certainly recommend this production.

The University Challenge delivers a clear and thoroughly engaging message about young people’s future choices

2engage's University Challenge performance delivers a clear and thoroughly engaging message about young people’s future choices, options and expectations when they come to leave school through the medium of drama/comedy. By breaking down these areas into humorous, digestible sketches it turns what could be a very boring advice and guidance session into a fun, aspiration raising performance. It’s a fantastic show that is applicable to various year groups and can be delivered anywhere from a small class room to a large school hall or performance space. All of the students/ teachers that have watched it have found it completely engaging with the Q+A session at the end proving to be a great success!

I highly recommend 2engage for your learners.

I watched the University Challenge as part of National Careers Week. The two guys brought so much energy and humour to the presentation and managed to tap into my learner's minds in ways that up to then, hadn't been able to. I would highly recommend 2engage for your learners. Well done to all involved!

Vicky Marchington

Watching this production made our learners think, question and re-evaluate their future choices!

Both our Year 10's and Year 12's found the production informative, entertaining and amusing. It reassured our Year 12's to take that next step and apply for university and reassured our Year 10's that university life and work is very different to school. It inspired our students to re-consider university life as a prospective future for them. Watching this production made them think, question and re-evaluate their future choices. Brilliant!

Rebecca Banks
