The Gatsby Benchmarks
Our programmes are designed to complement school/college career guidance and are aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks 1-4.
Our programmes align with Gatsby Benchmark 1 by offering structured, interactive workshops and theatre productions that contribute directly to schools' stable careers programmes. As an employer, we ensure that all our contributions are well-planned and clearly communicated to schools, students, and parents. Additionally, we actively seek feedback through surveys and focus groups to continuously improve our offerings, ensuring maximum impact and alignment with the career guidance needs of each institution.
Our employability workshops and career-focused theatre productions effectively address Gatsby Benchmark 2 by providing students with impartial information about various career opportunities, including emerging technical levels and pathways. We emphasise the practical application of subjects in the workplace and share case studies that highlight diverse career pathways.
Our workshops and theatre productions align with Gatsby Benchmark 3 by focusing on the specific needs of each pupil, ensuring that they receive personalised support in their career exploration. We actively share personal stories of overcoming barriers and accessing support, providing students with relatable examples that inspire them to navigate their own career journeys.
Our career-focused workshops and theatre productions align with Gatsby Benchmark 4 by actively linking curriculum learning to real-world career opportunities. By demonstrating the relevance of subjects to students' lives and future aspirations, we promote engagement in their learning. Our programmes not only enhance students’ understanding of how their studies connect to potential careers, but also foster their overall personal and social development.

The actors have all been phenomenal each time they've visited and I really couldn't have asked for any more. It was a fantastic way to kick-start our year 9 options day.

Both our Year 10's and Year 12's found the production informative, entertaining and amusing. It reassured our Year 12's to take that next step and apply for university and reassured our Year 10's that university life and work is very different to school.
